The DogaakDogaak Workshop is where people share keyboard sound profiles: a set of recorded key sounds, the keys they are assigned to, and a thumbnail, title and description. Anything you publish there is visible to everyone who owns DogaakDogaak. These rules keep it a place anyone can browse safely.

They apply in addition to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Steam’s Rules and Guidelines for Discussions, Reviews and User Generated Content, which every Workshop upload is already bound by.

1. What belongs here

  • Keyboard and typing sounds you recorded yourself, or that you otherwise have the right to share.
  • A title, description and thumbnail that honestly describe the sounds in the profile.
  • Credit to the original creator in the description, where the source’s license asks for it.

2. What is not allowed

An item is removed if its sounds, title, description or thumbnail contain any of the following:

  • Material you have no right to share — sound packs from other products, audio ripped from games, films or other people’s recordings.
  • Sexual or pornographic content, and any content that sexualizes minors.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or content that promotes violence or discrimination.
  • Other people’s personal information — names, addresses, contact details.
  • Malicious or deliberately broken files, or anything meant to disrupt the app.
  • Spam and deception — misleading titles or thumbnails, advertising, links that lure people off Steam, or the same item published over and over.
  • Anything illegal, or anything that helps others break the law.

3. AI-made audio

If you used AI to generate or transform the sounds in a profile, say so briefly in the description. The rules in section 2 apply to AI-made content in exactly the same way.

4. Reporting an item

Every Workshop item has a Report button on its Steam page. In the app, open a profile’s details and choose View on Steam Workshop to get there.

You can also write to [email protected] with the item’s link and what is wrong.

5. What we do with reports

  • Every new or updated item is flagged to us automatically, and a person reviews it.
  • We review reported items and remove those that break these rules. Serious cases (content involving minors, personal information, malware) are acted on as soon as we see them.
  • An item that collects enough community reports is hidden automatically until it is reviewed.
  • Creators who break these rules repeatedly or seriously may be blocked from the DogaakDogaak Workshop and reported to Steam.

If you own the rights to material that was published here without your permission, email [email protected] with:

  1. the link to the Workshop item,
  2. what work of yours it contains, and
  3. a statement that you own it (or are authorized to act for the owner).

We remove the item once the notice checks out. If your item was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to the same address and explain why — we will look at it again.

7. Changes

We may update these guidelines. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
